Plant Therapy Niaouli has a strong and diffusive, fresh, sweet, warm, camphoraceous aroma that is a bit like eucalyptus. It is excellent in respiratory blends and those targeted at muscle and joint soreness.  Niaouli is also useful at low concentration in skincare blends for blemish prone skin.

What We Love: Plant Therapy Niaouli 1,8 cineole is often to Tea Tree, but other than that they are both effective for blemish-prone skin, their therapeutic properties are quite different.  We love adding Niaouli to diffuser and personal inhaler blends to help open the airways.  It has components with proven airborne cleansing properties and are helpful to the immune system.

 

Full Description Plant Therapy Niaouli

Organic Niaouli 1,8-Cineole is in the same family as Tea Tree and Cajeput Essential oils and has a variety of uses. Best known for respiratory support, especially during seasonal pollen threats, it also makes an excellent addition to blends targeted at sore muscles and joints.

Niaouli is also useful in skincare, especially for blemishes or to help minor scratches or scrapes. Organic Niaouli 1,8-Cineole can also be an adjunct when added to a blend for the aches and pains associated with aging.

To help support healthy joints, Organic Niaouli 1,8-Cineole can be added to a carrier oil and smoothed over the affected area. Organic Niaouli 1,8-Cineole is also effective in resolving skin problems such as teenage blemishes and the occasional minor cooking burn. Diffuse into the air or use in an inhaler to help with symptoms caused by seasonal pollen or illness threats.
