Full Description Plant Therapy Elemi
Elemi Oil is a relative of Frankincense and Myrrh and has been cherished for centuries for its ability to restore healthy skin and rejuvenate a dull complexion.
Elemi oil is steam distilled elemi tree’s resin. The tree is native to the Philippines. It has a medium tangy-sweet scent with undertones that are musky.
In addition to its healthful benefits for younger and brighter looking skin, Elemi Oil has other aromatherapy applications and is known to be wonderfully balancing and emotionally grounding. This makes it a favorite of many for meditation. Elemi Oil can also be used topically (properly diluted) to help soothe sore muscles after exercising or just a stressful day.

To create a powerful anti-aging blend, add 2 drops each of Elemi Oil, Lavender and Neroli to 4 teaspoons of a skin-supporting carrier oil such as Rosehip.
To relieve sore muscles, blend a few drops of Elemi Oil with a carrier oil and massage into affected areas. You can also diffuse Elemi Oil for 30 minutes during meditation or yoga practice.
